Living in The Hague
You will soon feel at home in The Hague; it is one of the most beautiful places to live. The beach, woods, and rich architecture - The Hague has it all!
- Check with everyone - friends, acquaintances, anyone you meet.
- Take a look at the newspapers or the bulletin boards at supermarkets or the library.
- Register at (non-commercial) room letting agencies (for example, Duwo).
- Check with social housing corporations (sometimes it is possible to share a flat with others).
- Place an ad yourself.
Or go to the following links (in Dutch):

Once you find an address, always go and see it yourself and bring someone along. Before you view a room, make a checklist.

The municipality of The Hague, in cooperation with DUWO, is very active in the field of student housing. The room database is continually being expanded. DUWO lets nearly 1500 rooms and also acts as a mediator for privately owned rooms. DUWO officers can tell you exactly how the registration, searching for and assigning of rooms works.
