The Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs has multiple levels of management and co-participation. On every level in the faculty students can give their opinion on the quality of education, and influence it. You can do this by becoming a student-member of one of the multiple boards and committees, of which a brief overview is given below.
The faculty board is responsible for general management of the faculty with regards to education, research, operational management and finances.
Marlou Grobben is the assessor of the Faculty Campus The Hague, e.g. the student-member of the faculty board.
The faculty council has approval and advisory rights on a range of faculty matters, including - but not limited to - education. By doing so, it functions as a representative body of both students as scientific and support staff with regards to important decisions. As a student, you can run for one of the four available seats during the University Elections.
The academic board is responsible for the education in their programs, i.e. taking care of the creation and execution of the teaching program.
To guard the quality of education the faculty has developed a quality assessment system, which revolves around the Education Committee (OLC) as the most important part.
